I'm back! I'm overwhelmed at the stuff on my desk, but here are a few photos from my absence... I probably should have spent more time organizing them but didn't. I wonder if anyone can guess all their locations? I'll try to get around and see everyone this weekend.

Before I left, I replaced my old and cracked cell phone for a new blackberry. I may be regretting this later, but it was nice to be able to keep up with some blogs while not dragging around a laptop. However, for some reason, I wasn't able to comment on many blogs...

I hope your having a great weekend and a wonderful summer.
Looks like a great time! I love the cabin and the open road pics. What program do you use to create your collage?
ReplyDeleteHi Sage! Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed your trip.
ReplyDeleteYour collage looks great: very nice snapshots and composition. The locations look really beautiful. And you look cool in the pics!
I'm not one of the selected few -your compatriots- who would be able to guess the locations, but I'll dare ask if it's Grand Canyon. A German friend of mine is taking a 3-week trip to the Sierra Nevada, and then to the West Coast, to enjoy for the 2nd consecutive time that wonderful State.
I really hope you had fun and enjoyed contact with nature.
I can't wait to read about it!
I had put one photo up twice in the original.
ReplyDeleteKontan, it's just a powerpoint slide saved into a JPEG format
Leni, We didn't make it to the Grand Canyon--but weren't too far from there!
You kind of seem home in there. I really liked the collage.
ReplyDeleteAnd it is good to see you back.
Hi Sage, welcome back! Glad that you had a good time. The pictures are awesome. Thank you for sharing.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful collection of photos. Now I want to know what you did and where you went. I'd love to hear the stories that go with the adventure...or do I have to wait for the book?? ;)
ReplyDeleteHey, welcome back! Some look like New Mexico to me. I can't wait to read the stories you have about your travels.
ReplyDeleteI am looking forward to your stories and photos!
ReplyDeleteThere better darn well be a bunch of photos. I'm "jonesing" for the Four Corners.
ReplyDeleteCheers.
Geez...YOU have a Blackberry and I don't?!? Something is just not right. :-)
ReplyDeleteMy first guess was going to be west of the Mississippi but I think I'll narrow it down a bit to southern Utah. I love that area and have had a desire to go back and spend some more time since the last time I was there some ten or fifteen years ago.
ReplyDeleteI have almost an identical photo of horseshoe bend :) (No, I don't remember if that's the technical name.) Did you take a raft trip down the Colorado???
ReplyDeleteMan, I miss that area. Gorgeous photos, Sage.
Good to have you back!
TC - Are you sure it is horseshoe bend? That was my first thought but upon closer inspection, I don't think it is. The peninsula at Horseshoe has steps in the face while the one in Sage's montage is almost vertical. I was thinking perhaps somewhere along the Escalante?
ReplyDeleteYour travels never cease to inspire and amaze me, Sage. You approach Life with full gusto! Cheers to you, my friend and Welcome Back! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm behind but I guess those photo's are frome here there and everywhere between somewhere and somewhere else.
ReplyDeleteNice collection of photos... I recently got a new pda too- not a blackberry, but it does enough. Nice to keep up with everything, Garmin/google maps, etc. Even made camping reservations with the dang thing!
