And finally, the real me in a photo taken last winter. I'm going to have to dig out some more photos of the past, especially some I remember from 1976, when I had real long and bushy hair that was afro-like. Somewhere, I have a photo of me wearing an train engineer's hat and the hair all bunched up around it.

The Evolution of Sage
Ever wonder what you’d look like at various times in history? Apparently a lot of folks have and thanks to YearbookYourself.com, there’s a remedy to this problem as well as a new way to reduce productivity in the office or, in my case, to keep you up late at night. All you have to do is place a photo of yourself into their program and hit a button and the time machine goes to work. You can see what you’d look like back in the 50s or even 80s, and there’s even a link to sites where you can buy some of those fashionable clothes of yesteryear. I thank Murf for introducing me to this site, and not to be outdone by her, I decided to contrast myYearbookYourself.com photo with an actual shot of Sage at that point in history. So now you can watch Sage evolve (or, if you don’t buy evolution, progress)… And since scrapbooking is the in-thing right now, I thought I’d touch base with my feminine side and do a little of my own via powerpoint (it’s a lot cheaper that way). Please enjoy my indulgence into narcissism!

This was surprisingly creative of you, Sage. Well done. :-) For the yearbook shots, I'm all about 1974 and best of all, thank you for reminding me of Linda.
ReplyDeleteMy kids have howled with laughter looking at my high school yearbook photos. I, of course, have removed each them from the Official Estate Plan.
ReplyDeletePaybacks are hard.
Cheers.
I can see you being a train conductor :)
ReplyDeleteGood to see how you have evolved over the years!
ReplyDeletePriceless!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting, Sage! I'd be afraid to feed my photos into it....LOL
ReplyDeleteSage, these are fantastic! I love you in the 70s...and did anyone ever tell you that you looked like Stephen King in 2000? ;)
ReplyDeleteYou saved the best photo for last. Nice pic.
Oh, that's good stuff. I think 90 percent of the guys in my high school had that 1988 haircut.
ReplyDeleteAs for 1974, I think I'll just start calling you Keith Partridge.
nicely done!
ReplyDeleteWhen I went through my gram's house I found almost all my school photos. After that there were very few pics of me taken. I don't like breaking cameras :)
ReplyDeleteLove the 70s hair btw :)
Wow! :)
ReplyDeleteThis is great. And I admire you for the courage to go through all the old photos. I don't even want to touch them :)
I want to see your 1976 afro-like hair. Maybe one of these days I should photoshop my face to a bee-hive hair and see how would I look like now :)
Now you've got me sitting up all night. Fun site. Great presentation.
ReplyDeleteI nominated you for a blog award so if you're interested stop by and pick it up! You don't have to, but I hope it will generate more traffic to your fabulous site.
Sage: Forgive my tardiness (I lost my computer hard drive and am using a friend's computer tonight). This was indeed an evolution! FUN!!!
ReplyDeleteTake care, Sage!
LMAO!!!
ReplyDeleteyou are right, mission accomplished! Office productivity is DOWN!
The 2007/08 shot of you at the end is by far the most handsome.
ReplyDeleteI may just have to try this thing out.
fun trip down the decades.
ReplyDeleteFascinating time travel! :)
