Christmas is over. I've taken the tree down and abandoned my railway until next year. Sure wish we would get some consistant winter weather so that the skiing would improve. Until then, I'll be content to sit by the fire and sip aged Rum while reading a stash of Railroad magazines from the 1940s given to me by my grandmother.

  1. I've never been skiing, but I love aged Rum.

  2. I will save you a jigger. I'm not a big rum drinker, but aged rum compares to good whiskey. Before being introduced to them, I only used rum during the winter for hot buttered rums--a favorite drink after skiing. As for skiing, you'll have to try it. Nothing like feeling the wind bite your face or cross-country skiing under the moonlight.
