Yep, I'm an old fogie there. There is definitely an emphasis on innovation at my company, but based more in logic than creativity - which has posed problems according to client feedback. <br /><br />It sounds like Google has the right approach. Form a foundation/structure, and allow the creative flow to well up from there. Its all about balance, I think.
