You see i...Now this is a book I'd like to read.<br />You see if he didn't travel by train he was traveling like the locals. Trains in Africa were always for elites. Even when the USSR provided the rolling stock Angola and Mozambique after the Portuguese up stakes using them wasn't for the little guy. <br />And what's rarely noted about both Angola and Mozambique is at independence the entire structures of the colony went home. Everyone. In Maputo even the taxi drivers were Portuguese.
