Yet they still held the "traditional" belief system, confucianism, taoism, the entire package. The reviewer is right, Theroux is narcissistic (I look down right humbled next to him!) But, as I like reading about trains and travel, I'll probably read it, but probably not for at least 2 years, I need that much time to pass before I read about someone so important to himself.sagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17499891950639742366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9454941.post-41895812578092305202008-09-02T23:56:00.000-04:002008-09-02T23:56:00.000-04:00Did you hear about Teroux's new book?Did you hear about Teroux's new book?inghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03877741066021169188noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9454941.post-37101083149150435362008-09-02T23:14:00.000-04:002008-09-02T23:14:00.000-04:00Safari means Journey?!Such an exotic word means so...Safari means Journey?!
Such an exotic word means something so boring?
lol :)The Real Mother Henhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13226727195920798035noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9454941.post-1330450355718929512008-09-02T23:13:00.000-04:002008-09-02T23:13:00.000-04:00I'll like that type of book, the more cynical it g...I'll like that type of book, the more cynical it gets, the better it is. I've seen many religious groups operate in the many parts of Asia and some are truly bad, on the edge of exploitation in fact. (If I remember correctly) I think it was John Perkins that condemned those NGOs operated in South America in his Economic Hitman (or the subsequent book).
