A nice thing about old technology like the trains is that they have dealt with those problems before and have those things worked out.DEKhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15017391447185559177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9454941.post-67515763805875223572007-11-24T13:28:00.000-05:002007-11-24T13:28:00.000-05:00I enjoyed your trip home. "Some looked around, as if waiting for someone who wasn’t there to greet them, a lonely feeling I thought.", caught me big time, for I have had similar thoughts whenever I took the train long before '87. Thank you.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9454941.post-67339229909706050732007-11-17T12:13:00.000-05:002007-11-17T12:13:00.000-05:00Was a lovely story. Love train stories and this had the added element of action

Something about coming home is magical--horrible to say but especially after spending a New Year with a grandmother--mine didn't let my sister and I go out with my friends--we were visiting her in Miami Beach. As we were 24 and 22, we really could have but...it was when she took her drink of shnappes and wouldn't let us have any that we rebelled, and we're not drinkers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9454941.post-48851180288547246042007-11-17T09:30:00.000-05:002007-11-17T09:30:00.000-05:00Michele sent me to read your lovely story, sage :-...Michele sent me to read your lovely story, sage :-) I loved the last paragraph - one of those 'it was worth it' stories....

I have been on a plane when a passenger has been arrested for drunken behaviour.

I need your help at the Palace :-)

cqcraziequeenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15098227916486173799noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9454941.post-50933998365219890922007-11-17T09:24:00.000-05:002007-11-17T09:24:00.000-05:00Let me say something about my memory, first of all...Let me say something about my memory, first of all, I journal and often write down what happens. Secondly, when writing these stories, I try to re-expereince it all, some of the fine detail may come from this--and not be exactly correct--as I've ridden many miles on the train, so a few details get filled in from my broader experiences. So, some of the minor details may not be as exact but from a larger experience base, if that's understandable.sagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17499891950639742366noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9454941.post-1910732043845495382007-11-17T08:28:00.000-05:002007-11-17T08:28:00.000-05:00You do have a photographic memory.
