A decade older than you, I started the 70s already with a PhD and my first job.

IMO the 70s were a collective hangover from the excesses of the 60s. The 60s were a hellaciously traumatizing period in this country that had people polarized and reeling by its end. The cultural shifts that happened in the 70s were part of a retreat into what-the-hell indifference - which came along with the widespread use of drugs. That's what disco was all about.Ron Scheerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15357501069513854664noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9454941.post-90800719747263222652010-09-06T15:58:59.613-04:002010-09-06T15:58:59.613-04:00i was born in the 70s so i remember little...i do ...i was born in the 70s so i remember little...i do know some disco though...smiles. might check this one outBrian Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00722940075884718007noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9454941.post-64142654696913673422010-09-06T15:51:31.344-04:002010-09-06T15:51:31.344-04:00A teenager at the end of the decade, most of those...A teenager at the end of the decade, most of those milestones went unnoticed by me except for disco...and the movie Grease.
I like your statement on credit cards, why post pomne buying when it will cost more tomorrow!A Plain Observerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03741520771592669741noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9454941.post-21548637472831318052010-09-06T15:09:02.090-04:002010-09-06T15:09:02.090-04:00Your love of long hair on women shows that your mi...Your love of long hair on women shows that your misogynistic side is still alive and well.
